Public Welcome Family-Friendly Free Event Chapter Social Group Tour Nature Walk/Hike
Join us for an evening stroll through a meadow in full bloom! On July 25th, from 7 to 9:30 pm at the Hollidaysburg Sportsman Club, come see the native meadow project shining in its third year of glorious growth.
We'll be out right at peak twilight, that soft golden hour when the light turns everything magical and the meadow is just begging to be photographed. Dozens of native wildflower species are blooming right now, and the pollinators have taken notice: bees, butterflies, and moths have been busy at work, with plenty of birds stopping by too.
Our guide for the evening is Jordan Wild of Ecotopian Earthcare, who will walk us through the meadow and introduce us to some standout species, sharing the roles they play in the wider web of life around them. It's a wonderful chance to learn, slow down, and fall a little more in love with the plants growing right in our own backyard.
This event is free and open to everyone, so bring the whole family, your curiosity, and your camera.
And if you're feeling inspired, feel free to bring a little something to share, a snack or treat from your garden, your foraging basket, or your kitchen. Seasonal, native goodies are always a treat, but it's just a fun bonus, not a requirement. Come as you are and enjoy the evening!
We can't wait to wander the meadow with you.
